Turkey Urges International Community to Act Against Israel’s Aggression on Iran
Fahrettin Altun, Head of the Turkish Presidency’s Communications Directorate, condemned Israel’s attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) building as “a clear massacre” targeting media personnel and civilians.In a post on X social media platform reported by webangah News Agency, Altun stated: “Attacking journalists and media professionals is barbaric; such an assault has no legitimacy or legal justification.”
Altun emphasized that Israel, through its crimes, has forfeited its governmental legitimacy and is “building thick walls between itself and lasting peace.” He added: “We in Turkey condemn this heinous attack. We extend condolences to the Iranian people for the loss of media personnel in Israel’s assault.”
The Turkish official called upon the international community to take action against Israeli aggressions that have “set the region ablaze.”
