Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’​ al-Sudani has again emphasized⁤ Baghdad’s opposition to violations of Iraqi airspace and its ⁢use for attacks against Iran, according⁢ to‌ a report ‍by webangah News Agency, citing the Iraqi ⁢Waa News‌ agency.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a release that ​British⁤ Ambassador ⁣to Baghdad Stephen Hitchen met with al-Sudani on Saturday.

During the meeting, the ⁤two​ officials discussed regional ‌developments, prospects for bilateral cooperation, and ways to strengthen ⁣relations across various fields in a manner ​serving⁣ mutual interests.

Al-Sudani reaffirmed Iraq’s firm‌ stance ​against airspace ​violations and the continued use of Iraqi territory by​ the Zionist regime for attacks on ​the Islamic Republic of‌ Iran.
