Reuters Cites Senior Iranian Official on Geneva Talks

According to webangah⁤ News Agency, Reuters reported ⁤that a senior Iranian official stated⁤ Tehran would review European proposals and present its response‌ during the next meeting.

The unnamed​ official allegedly told Reuters that European powers’ demands regarding Iran’s nuclear program⁤ during Geneva negotiations‍ were “unrealistic,” insisting such positions would not bring either‌ side⁢ closer to an​ agreement.

The source ⁢claimed Iran would nevertheless evaluate ⁤the proposals domestically before formally responding in ​subsequent talks. ⁣The⁣ official emphasized that “zero enrichment” demands were futile and reiterated Iran’s ⁤refusal to negotiate on defensive capabilities, including⁣ its missile program.
