Egyptian FM Discusses Zionist Regime’s Aggression Against Iran with Czech Counterpart
According to webangah News Agency, Egyptian foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty stated during talks with US Special Envoy for middle East Affairs Steve Vitkaff on saturday that Cairo believes there is no military solution to recent regional tensions other than dialog, emphasizing that peaceful resolution and political negotiations remain the only viable path for lasting peace and stability in the region.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry confirmed in a statement that this position was discussed during a phone call, framed within ongoing coordination and consultation between Egypt and the United States regarding dangerous and rapidly evolving regional developments.
The U.S. State Department expressed growing regional concerns amid escalating military confrontations between Zionist aggressors and iran, warning of serious threats to West Asia’s security and stability-without condemning the Zionist forces’ actions.
Abdulatti emphasized to Witkoff the urgent need to de-escalate tensions, secure a ceasefire between the parties, and resume U.S.-Iran nuclear negotiations.
This comes as Iran’s Foreign Minister stated yesterday that Tehran was engaged in diplomatic talks with Washington when it was attacked by the Zionist regime.
