Egyptian FM Discusses Zionist Aggression Against Iran with Czech Counterpart
According to webangah News Agency, citing Egypt’s Al-Ahram Online, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty stated during talks with US Special Envoy for Middle East Affairs Steve Vitkaff on Saturday that Cairo believes there is no military solution to recent regional tensions other than dialog.He emphasized that peaceful resolution and political dialogue remain the only viable path toward lasting peace and stability in the region.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry confirmed in a statement that this position was discussed during a phone call, framed within ongoing coordination and consultation between Egypt and the United States regarding rapidly evolving dangerous regional developments.
The United States expressed growing regional concerns amid escalating military confrontations between Zionist aggressors and Iran, warning of serious threats to West Asia’s security and stability-without condemning the Zionist aggressors’ actions.
Abdulati emphasized to Wittekauf the urgent need to de-escalate tensions, secure a ceasefire between the parties, and resume U.S.-Iran nuclear negotiations.
This comes as Iran’s Foreign Minister stated yesterday that tehran was engaged in diplomatic talks with the U.S. when it was attacked by the Zionist regime.
