US Senator: Washington Must Stop Supporting Netanyahu’s Cabinet
According to webangah News Agency, prominent US Senator Bernie Sanders told The Guardian that Washington must stop supporting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s hardline government.
Sanders stated that Netanyahu’s cabinet has “massacred Gaza residents” and deliberately kept them starving.
The senator previously warned in an analytical piece for Fox News that the United States should not be dragged into war with Iran. He emphasized that former President Trump’s decision to attack Iran was illegal, as he lacked congressional authorization – especially since Iran poses no threat to america.
“Nobody seriously believes Iran represents a military threat to the United States,” Sanders asserted.
The Vermont senator also referenced Netanyahu’s role in encouraging the 2003 US invasion of Iraq, cautioning that his policies should not dictate Washington’s decisions today.
