Hamas: Hajj Ramadan Was a Pillar of the Resistance
webangah News Agency reports that Hamas has issued a statement expressing condolences to the Iranian nation,the family of martyred commander Sardar Saeed Izadi (Haj Ramadan),and the Islamic Ummah. Izadi served as the palestinian affairs coordinator for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The movement stated: “With hearts filled with faith in divine decree, we mourn the martyrdom of mujahid Commander Sardar Saeed Izadi before the Arab and Islamic nations. This commander was assassinated during the Zionist regime’s treacherous aggression against Iranian territory, attaining the exalted rank of martyrdom.”
hamas described Haj Ramadan as “one of the key pillars supporting Palestinian resistance,” emphasizing: “He dedicated every moment to Palestine’s cause through tireless efforts to strengthen resistance capabilities against the Zionist enemy. While his martyrdom brings profound grief, his blood-like that of all resistance martyrs-will illuminate the path to liberation.“
The statement further honored Iran’s historic stance in supporting Palestine while reaffirming commitment to continuing armed struggle until Jerusalem’s liberation.
Concluding with prayers, Hamas invoked: ”May God grant mercy to this martyred commander and all who sacrificed thier lives for Jerusalem’s cause. We beseech Allah to envelop them in boundless grace, grant them paradise’s highest abode, and bestow supreme rewards for their service to Palestine and its people.”
