This growth allows the Eurasian Economic Union to advance its relations with middle Eastern nations.
Speaking at the summit, putin highlighted that a free trade agreement with Iran took effect in May.”Fortunately, stability is returning to the Middle East,” he said. “The protracted confrontation between Israel and Iran is now behind us, by God’s grace.”
The Russian leader added: “This progress enables us to forge closer ties with all regional countries.”
Putin traveled to Belarus today to attend the Eurasian Economic Union meeting.
