Haaretz: Trump Made a Major Mistake
According to a report by webangah News Agency, teh Hebrew-language newspaper Haaretz stated that Trump made a major mistake by interfering in Netanyahu’s legal proceedings.
The report further emphasized that such intervention creates the perception of Israel as a government dependent on the United States.
Yesterday, Yair Lapid, leader of the opposition in the Zionist regime, responded to Trump’s call for canceling Netanyahu’s trial by saying: “Trump should refrain from interfering in our domestic legal affairs.”
Lapid added: “I believe Trump’s support for Netanyahu stems from his intention to pressure him into ending the Gaza war.”
Trump recently claimed: “I learned that Netanyahu has been summoned to court next Monday over a long-standing case-this is unprecedented.” He demanded: ”Netanyahu’s trial must be canceled or pardoned instantly!”
The corruption trial against Netanyahu, involving multiple cases, began months ago in the occupied territories.
