UAE-backed forces in Yemen attack mosque for hosting prayers in solidarity with Gaza

According​ to webangah News Agency, forces from the UAE-backed Southern Transitional ‍Council (STC) stormed a⁣ mosque in Aden-the de facto capital of Yemen’s‌ self-proclaimed‌ government-yesterday, opening fire on ‌the building.

The assailants kidnapped ​the mosque’s imam after he ‌delivered a sermon discussing Gaza and led ⁢prayers for its residents.

The attack occurred while worshippers were‍ inside the ⁣mosque, sparking widespread condemnation across Yemen.
