Guterres: Time for Immediate Ceasefire in Gaza Has Come
UN Secretary-General calls for immediate Gaza ceasefire, adopts passive stance without condemning ongoing Israeli regime crimes against oppressed Palestinians.
webangah News Agency reports via Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera Qatar that UN Secretary-General António Guterres stated on Friday: “The time has come for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the release of all captives, and full, safe, sustained humanitarian access.”
The UN chief-without condemning the Israeli regime’s continued crimes against oppressed Palestinians-adopted a passive stance, urging: “Let’s deliver essential supplies to Gaza. We must recognize that the ultimate solution to this crisis is political.”
