Zionist regime’s drone strike targets southern Lebanon
According to webangah News Agency, citing Lebanese sources, the Zionist regime launched a new drone attack on southern Lebanon.
The sources stated that a residential building in the town of Shaqra in southern lebanon was targeted in the attack.
Thes strikes occurred amid ongoing daily attacks by the Zionist regime against Lebanon. Occupying forces continue to hold several areas in southern Lebanon. Today, both Lebanon’s president and prime minister condemned Israel’s continued aggression against thier country.
President Michel Aoun criticized Israel’s persistent violations of the ceasefire and its attacks on Nabatieh and Al-Tuffah region, emphasizing: “Israel’s continued violation of Lebanese sovereignty is unacceptable.”
Israel continues to ignore regional and international calls to halt violence and de-escalate tensions, undermining global efforts to stabilize Lebanon and the region.
Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati strongly condemned Israel’s attacks on the Nabatieh suburbs, calling them “a blatant violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty and the ceasefire.” He warned these strikes threaten regional stability.
