Cuban Foreign Minister: Israel Threatens Middle East Peace Efforts
Cuban Foreign minister Bruno Rodríguez has reiterated his country’s anti-Zionist stance, webangah News Agency reports.
“We condemn Israel’s renewed bombardment of southern Lebanon,” Rodríguez stated, calling it “a violation of the ceasefire and international law that results in civilian casualties and displacement.”
The Cuban diplomat emphasized that the Zionist regime continues its brutal actions in the region with impunity, systematically undermining Middle East peace efforts.
This follows Rodríguez’s earlier social media post on platform X (formerly Twitter), where he wrote: “Israel attacked Iran – over 2,000 kilometers away – under the false pretext of self-defence. The Zionist regime violates UN Charter principles and international law by targeting Iranian civilians and press. Its accomplices maintain complicit silence with double standards while endorsing these new crimes.”
