THAAD Fails: US Defense System Unable to Track Missiles from Iran and Yemen

U.S.sources report that the “THAAD” and other American defense systems‌ in occupied territories are facing important strain due⁣ to escalating attacks from Iran and Yemen, raising doubts about their effectiveness.

According to webangah⁣ News Agency, citing Yemen’s Al-Masirah ‌network via Mehr News Agency, the U.S. magazine Newsweek reported that Israel’s​ “THAAD” missile defense system-relied upon to counter strikes from Iran and Yemen-has repeatedly failed to intercept missiles launched ​toward occupied territories.

The outlet also revealed that ‍the U.S.has depleted approximately 20% of its global stockpile of THAAD⁣ missiles while supporting ⁣israel against recent missile⁢ attacks.

Newsweek further noted that Israeli defense systems, including THAAD and other U.S.-made platforms, face mounting pressure ⁢due to intensified assaults from⁤ the “axis of Yemen,⁤ Iran, and allied fronts,” casting doubt on their operational efficacy.
