India Responds to Pakistan Army’s Statement on Deadly Waziristan Suicide Attack

New Delhi rejects Pakistan Army’s statement blaming India for suicide attack⁣ on military convoy in North waziristan.

According to⁢ webangah ⁢News ‌Agency, citing India Today, New⁣ Delhi⁢ has dismissed the Pakistani military’s official statement‌ following a⁣ deadly suicide attack on an army convoy⁤ in⁣ North Waziristan that accused india of​ involvement.

India’s ⁢Ministry of External Affairs stated: “We have seen an official statement from‌ the Pakistan Army attempting‌ to blame ‍India for the June⁢ 28 ‌attack in Waziristan.We reject this⁤ accusation with the contempt it‍ deserves.”

The suicide bombing ​yesterday involved an explosives-laden vehicle ramming into a Pakistani military convoy,killing at​ least 13 soldiers.‍ The Pakistan Army also⁣ reported ‌three civilian casualties, including two children⁢ and⁤ one woman.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz ⁤Sharif condemned the attack as a⁢ “fearful act.” The Associated Press reports that Tehreek-e-Taliban ⁤Pakistan (TTP) faction Hafiz Gul Bahadur has claimed duty for the assault.
