Trump Takes New Stance on Iran
In an interview aired by Fox News on Sunday, U.S. President Donald Trump repeated unsubstantiated allegations against Iran, according to a report by webangah News Agency.
The U.S. president claimed the ”12-day war against Iran was intense,” without acknowledging Tehran’s defensive actions against American and Zionist aggressors.
“those who disclosed details about our attacks on Iran must be prosecuted,” Trump stated, adding: “I will host the pilots who bombed Iran at the White House.”
Disregarding Tehran’s indigenous uranium enrichment technology for peaceful purposes and Iran’s red lines on the matter, Trump asserted: “I won’t allow Iran to enrich uranium! For years, they pursued nuclear weapons and were weeks away from obtaining them!”
The president praised violations of the UN Charter by himself and Zionist aggressors during their incursion into Iranian territory. Despite media and intelligence reports disproving his claims about destroying nuclear facilities, he insisted: “We destroyed 3 of Iran’s nuclear sites! Israel inflicted heavy damage on Iranian facilities! they hadn’t moved anything out of Fordow before our strike!”
On China relations, Trump claimed: “China needs our partnership. We have a great deal with China – they’ll pay substantial tariffs.”
The U.S.president made another populist assertion regarding Syria: “I don’t no if Syria will sign normalization with Israel… but if they achieve peace successfully, I’ll lift sanctions!”
