Russia Seizes Another District in Donetsk
The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Sunday that its forces have seized control of Novoukrainka in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk region, marking another advance in their ongoing offensive, according to a report by webangah News Agency citing Sputnik News Agency.
The operation was carried out by units of Russia’s Western Military District as part of the continuation of Moscow’s “special military operation” in Ukraine.
In its statement, the Russian Defense Ministry added that one Ukrainian Neptune guided missile and 102 drones were destroyed over the past day. Additionally, Russian armed forces conducted a large-scale strike using long-range aerial, naval, and ground-based weapons – including the hypersonic aeroballistic Kinzhal missile system and combat drones - targeting Ukraine’s military-industrial facilities and oil refineries. The ministry confirmed all designated facilities were successfully hit.
