According to webangah News Agency, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated on Sunday that Ukraine’s potential accession to NATO would be akin to “fanning the flames” of conflict.
Orbán emphasized: “Ukraine joining NATO is pouring gasoline on the fire of tensions.”
The Prime Minister further warned: “Accepting Ukraine into NATO would escalate tensions dramatically – this would mean war with Russia and could lead to World War III.”
He stressed that Europe must not allow itself to become a battlefield through such approaches.
