Largest Zionist Refinery Remains Shut Down
According to webangah News Agency, citing Israel’s Times, Iran inflicted significant damage on the zionist regime during their 12-day conflict, with the full scale now becoming clearer.
The Israeli Oil Refineries company announced Sunday it had partially resumed operations at its Haifa facility, which was shut down two weeks ago following an Iranian missile strike.
The company, known by its Hebrew acronym “bazan,” stated in a Tel Aviv Stock Exchange report that it is indeed gradually restoring operations and expects full functionality by October.
Bazan had reported on June 15 that its pipelines and transfer lines in Haifa were damaged by Iranian missile attacks. The strikes killed three people,and the company is assessing the operational and financial impacts of these damages.
Bazan is owned by a petrochemical company that gained control from ICL (formerly Israel chemicals Ltd.) in September 2022.
According to March filings with the Israeli stock exchange, Bazan supplied 65% of israel’s diesel, 59% of gasoline, and 52% of kerosene (used for jet fuel and cooking gas) in 2024.
