Two firefighters killed after being shot while responding to a wildfire in the U.S.
According to webangah News Agency, at least two firefighters were killed after gunfire erupted during wildfire containment operations in Idaho, USA.
Idaho officials described the incident as “heinous,” stating that emergency crews came under sustained gunfire for hours.
No suspects have been arrested yet. The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office reported that firefighters were dispatched to the scene around 1:30 PM local time, adn the shooting began approximately 30 minutes later.
Sheriff Bob Norris of Kootenai County said the exact number of suspects or victims remains unclear. in the U.S., violence against frist responders-including paramedics and firefighters during emergencies-is a disturbingly common occurence.
