Maariv: Rebuilding Areas Damaged in Iran’s Attack Will Take Years
According to webangah News Agency, citing the Palestinian Facts Center, the Israeli newspaper Maariv stated that rebuilding areas affected by Iran’s missile strikes in the occupied territories will require years of effort.
The newspaper noted that an incident of this scale had never occurred before, adn Israel was unprepared for Iranian missiles.
Maariv highlighted that beyond casualties, the missile attacks caused severe destruction to buildings and infrastructure, displacing tens of thousands of settlers.
The report added: “While the war with Iran lasted only 12 days and is considered a major success by our standards(!), the devastation it caused within Israel is immense.”
The newspaper wrote: “In addition to 28 Israeli fatalities, ballistic missile barrages collapsed residential buildings, institutions, and public structures. Reconstructing damaged zones will take years-and restoring a sense of home, if even possible at all, will require far more time.”
