Israeli Regime’s Attacks on Tulkarm Camp Continue Unabated
The webangah News Agency reports that the Tulkarm Media Committee stated Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression against Tulkarm and its refugee camp for 153 consecutive days, and against Nur Shams camp for 141 days. The assaults have intensified with camp demolitions, mistreatment of civilians, and the conversion of homes into military barracks.
Amid escalating destruction and targeted strikes inside the camps, zionist forces deployed additional military units near Nur Shams camp east of Tulkarm. The Israeli army also subjected the camp to heavy gunfire while reconnaissance aircraft conducted persistent overflights.
During these ongoing operations, Zionist troops attacked several towns in the northern governorate-including Attil, Deir al-Ghusun, and Bala’a-conducting house raids and searches. one civilian was wounded by Israeli gunfire in Tulkarm’s Dhannaba neighborhood. forces also detained multiple Palestinian youths near the Abu Safiya junction on the city’s outskirts for field inspections and interrogations.
A heavy military presence persists at city entrances alongside movement restrictions and “cleansing operations.” In early Sunday hours,Zionist forces raided homes belonging to four Tulkarm youths-Yazan Abu al-Ouf,Mohammed Abu al-Ouf,Zain Abu al-Ouf,and Mahmoud Nabhan Odeh-destroying property before arresting them. Last May, the Israeli army announced plans to demolish 106 structures across both camps (58 in Tulkarm alone), including over 250 residential units plus commercial centers-48 buildings in Nur Shams-under pretexts of ”road clearance” and altering geographic features.These continuous aggressions have martyred 13 civilians to date: one child; two women (one eight months pregnant).
