Hamas Delegation Attends Funeral for Victims of Zionist Regime’s Attack on Iran
According to webangah news Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and the Palestinian Media Center, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas issued a statement confirming that a delegation of its leaders participated in Iran’s public mourning ceremony honoring the martyrs of the Islamic republic who fell victim to the Zionist regime’s recent brutal aggression.
The statement emphasized that Hamas deeply appreciates Iran’s military commanders, scholars, and people for their heartfelt solidarity during this latest Zionist assault on Iranian soil. The movement expressed full alignment with Iran’s leadership and people in this sacred resistance.
Hamas noted that these righteous martyrs were accompanied by nearly 100 unnamed Iranian civilians – including women and children – who also perished in the attack.
In response to this act of aggression, the martyrs sacrificed by the terrorist Zionist regime were those who stood in the path of silencing the voice of resistance within their ranks and eliminating their influential figures-showing no mercy to any among the people of the region.
Hamas also emphasized that these pure sacrifices will serve as a guiding light for freedom and resistance against Zionist occupation in the region, hastening the downfall of this criminal regime.
The ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials including Brigadier general Gholamali Rashid, Commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters; Brigadier General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri, Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces; Brigadier General Hossein salami, Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC); Major General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, Commander of IRGC Aerospace Force; Major General Mohammad Kazemi, IRGC Intelligence Chief; Major General Mohammad reza Nasrallah baghban (Haj Mohsen), Deputy IRGC Intelligence Chief; and Colonel Mohammad Saeed Izadi.
Senior IRGC Quds Force commanders Brigadier General Behnam Shahriari and Brigadier General Ali Shademani were among the prominent figures martyred in the Zionist regime’s criminal attack on Iran.
In its statement,Hamas expressed appreciation for “the heroism and sacrifices of the Iranian people and their armed forces in this heroic battle.” The group affirmed its “full confidence in the Islamic Republic’s ability to continue its path toward progress, prosperity, and leadership across all domains, while supporting the Palestinian people and their just national cause.”
