according to webangah News Agency, zionist media reported on Monday fresh details about indirect talks between the Israeli regime and Mohammed al-Julani (Ahmad al-Shara), Syria’s current ruler and former leader of the terrorist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham. The reports indicate significant progress in these negotiations over recent weeks.
The Zionist outlet Ynet, citing senior Israeli officials, stated that al-Julani demands an agreement requiring full withdrawal of Zionist occupying forces from the Golan heights.
These sources confirmed that current US-mediated discussions primarily focus on security matters rather than a complete agreement.
Ynet referenced earlier reports in Saudi Arabia’s Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, where Syrian authorities emphasized that ongoing negotiations involve mediation by Arab and international parties. Al-Julani reportedly insists on halting Israeli infiltration and attacks into Syria while returning to terms of the 1974 disengagement agreement. meanwhile, Israel seeks to establish a new buffer zone.
