Hamas: U.S. Aims to Ease Global Pressure on Netanyahu by Clearing Him of Charges
webangah News Agency reports that Osama Hamdan, a prominent Hamas leader, condemned the U.S. stance and its disregard for the Israeli regime’s crimes, stating: “For the past four weeks, America has issued no clear position condemning Netanyahu’s rejection of ceasefire proposals.”
Hamdan emphasized that the occupying regime has made no progress toward a ceasefire during this period, adding: “No new developments have emerged from the occupiers regarding a truce in the past four weeks.”
Addressing ongoing diplomatic efforts,he said: “We are pursuing mediation attempts to halt aggression and reopen crossings.We insist on reaching an agreement that ends assaults against our people.”
The senior Hamas official warned: “Continued aggression will mean continued resistance.”
He further stated: “We’ve presented a comprehensive plan that could lead to an overarching agreement,” while criticizing Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s conduct: “Netanyahu seeks to exploit conflict with Iran for early elections-building his political ransom on our people’s blood.”
regarding Washington’s role, Hamdan asserted: “The U.S. government cannot yet be considered a serious or neutral mediator. It continues sending troubling messages as an intermediary.”
“we remain resolute to achieve a ceasefire rescuing our nation from this catastrophe,” he stressed, adding: “The Palestinian people must have thier right to full sovereignty in an independent state.”
The Hamas official concluded by noting Washington recognizes Netanyahu has become internationally wanted but believes domestic exoneration might extend globally.
