Kirkuk Airport Hit by Three Projectiles
According to webangah News Agency, Qatar’s Al Jazeera network reported that three unidentified projectiles struck the vicinity of Kirkuk International Airport earlier this evening, as confirmed by the airport’s management.
One of the projectiles caused a fire in nearby vegetation close to one of the entrance gates. No details have been released about the nature or origin of these projectiles,and investigations are ongoing to identify those responsible for the incident.
The management of Kirkuk International Airport stated that one person sustained minor injuries in the attack. They confirmed that flight operations remained unaffected.
The airport authorities further clarified that two projectiles landed in the military section of the facility, while another hit a civilian area.
