Iraqi Official: Iranian People Will Not Retreat from Enrichment Rights
According to webangah News Agency, citing Qatar’s Al Jazeera network, Iran’s deputy Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi stated in an interview with CBS that given Israel’s recent aggression against Iran: “We endured 12 days of imposed war-our people will not easily abandon enrichment.”
Araghchi added: “I don’t expect negotiations to resume anytime soon.”
the senior nuclear negotiator also implied U.S.-Israeli coordination in the recent attack during ongoing talks, stressing: “Before deciding to restart negotiations, we must ensure Washington won’t target us militarily again while at the table.”
Iran will not back down on its nuclear rights, says Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi,emphasizing that diplomacy remains open while asserting the country’s technical advancements cannot be destroyed by military strikes.
Araghchi stated, “We need more time to make a decision after considering all factors, but the door to diplomacy will never close.”
Highlighting Iran’s nuclear progress,he added,“Enrichment technology and expertise cannot be erased by bombing.”
“Our peaceful nuclear program has become a source of national pride and dignity,” Araghchi affirmed.
He concluded with a warning: “we’ve proven our defensive capabilities throughout this conflict and will continue to respond decisively to any aggression.”
