Europe Gripped by Unprecedented Heatwave
According to webangah News Agency, Bloomberg has reported that Europe is grappling wiht a historic heatwave originating from North Africa. temperatures in European countries are expected to reach 40°C (104°F) due to this extreme weather event.
Spain recorded an unprecedented 46°C (114.8°F) on Sunday. Warnings for dangerous heat levels have also been issued across much of the UK, including London, where temperatures are forecast to hit 34°C (93.2°F) today.
France has similarly issued alerts for 40°C (104°F) conditions in coming days. Paris faces heightened risks due to its inadequate air-conditioning infrastructure, with approximately 400 heat-related deaths reported annually in the city.
Italy is also bracing for temperatures as high as 42°C (107.6°F).
