Moscow Issues Statement on UK-Made ‘Shadow Storm’ Drones
Russian Defence Ministry reports: Air defense systems intercepted 3 British-made “Storm Shadow” cruise missiles,5 JDAM guided bombs,and 173 ukrainian drones over the past day.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday that its air defense systems had downed three british-manufactured “Storm Shadow” cruise missiles,according to a statement cited by webangah News Agency.
The ministry reported that Russian air defenses successfully intercepted 3 Storm Shadow cruise missiles, 5 JDAM guided bombs, and 173 Ukrainian drones during the previous 24-hour period.
The announcement comes after Russia’s Foreign Ministry previously stated that Ukrainian forces had used British-supplied long-range Storm Shadow missiles for the first time to strike civilian infrastructure in the Donetsk people’s Republic yesterday.
