Putin and Macron Affirm Iran’s Right to Peaceful Nuclear Energy

The Russian presidential office stated: Vladimir Putin told his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron that the ongoing conflict in Ukraine directly results from Western nations’ anti-Russian policies.
The Kremlin further noted that Putin stressed how Western efforts aim to prolong Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine during the call.
The statement added: Both leaders reaffirmed the importance of respecting Iran’s right to peaceful nuclear energy while urging Tehran’s continued adherence to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
