Al Busaidi: Efforts to Resume Iran-US Negotiations Underway

Oman’s ⁣Foreign Minister ‍states: Ongoing efforts to bridge gaps and resume Iran-US negotiations continue, but‌ no timeline‍ has been set for talks to restart.

According to webangah⁣ News⁣ Agency, Oman’s Foreign Minister ⁢Badr bin ‍Hamad al-Busaidi addressed the potential resumption⁢ of negotiations between Iran and the United States.

On Tuesday,‌ Al-Busaidi emphasized the ‍need ⁣for concessions to revive nuclear talks between the U.S.and Iran, stating that escalating demands would⁣ hinder a ​swift return to negotiations.

He⁤ added: “Continuous efforts ⁣are underway‍ to align perspectives and restart​ Iran-U.S.talks,but no specific timeline has been established yet.”

Al-Busaidi affirmed that‌ Oman will persist in its mediation efforts aimed​ at maintaining the ‍ceasefire between Iran and Israel, reducing tensions, and advancing ⁢Tehran-Washington dialogue for regional stability.

The Omani Foreign Minister stated: “The Sultanate remains committed to⁣ peaceful resolution of⁣ regional and international crises through dialogue and‍ diplomacy.”

Al-Busaidi urged​ both‌ Tehran and⁣ Washington ‍to demonstrate genuine intent in bridging ⁣differences ​to facilitate renewed negotiations.

He also expressed support for⁣ egypt’s role in de-escalation efforts, endorsing ⁢an Arab initiative for Gaza reconstruction alongside ⁣humanitarian-political processes coordinated with regional/international partners.
