Kremlin: Discussing Acceleration of Russia-Ukraine Negotiations Is Difficult

According to webangah ⁣News Agency, citing TASS via Mehr ​News Agency, Kremlin spokesman ⁤Dmitry Peskov stated on Tuesday that Russia​ strongly condemns Kyiv’s⁢ attacks on civilian areas. Moscow aims to achieve its objectives regarding Ukraine through political and diplomatic means. The Russian military is taking ⁢necessary measures to minimize⁣ risks ‌from Kyiv’s strikes on Russian cities. Russia has no interest in delaying negotiations about Ukraine.

Peskov further emphasized that Russia will neither slow nor⁣ halt the implementation‍ of agreements reached with ‌Ukraine. However,he noted ‍that ⁢discussing any potential acceleration of negotiations between the two⁣ countries remains difficult. The kremlin expressed gratitude for U.S.efforts ‌to negotiate a resolution to ‌the Ukrainian crisis.

the ⁣spokesman added that Moscow is closely monitoring ​reports about the⁣ detention of employees from ⁢Sputnik⁤ Azerbaijan and Raptly. Russia⁢ hopes direct contacts with⁤ Baku will lead to the release⁤ of detained Russian journalists.
