Rashida⁢ Tlaib, Palestinian-American congresswoman,⁢ Urges Trump Administration to Halt Israeli Blockade on Gaza and Humanitarian Aid Restrictions

According to webangah⁣ News Agency, citing the palestinian ​Details Center, Rashida Tlaib, the Palestinian-American Congresswoman, called on ‌the Donald Trump administration in a social media⁤ post ​on X (formerly Twitter) to pressure Israel⁤ into lifting its⁤ blockade ⁤on Gaza and allowing humanitarian aid deliveries.

In her message directed ​at Secretary of State Marco Rubio and⁤ 18 other congressional members, she stressed: ⁢ “Israel has blocked humanitarian aid to Gaza for over three months, leaving more than two million people at risk of starvation.”

Tlaib further stated: ‍”We are outraged that israel weaponizes humanitarian aid‌ in this conflict. The regime increasingly employs starvation as a war tactic.” ⁣Highlighting the ⁣human cost of the blockade, she warned: “Every resident of gaza now faces famine and starvation-related deaths. This blatantly​ violates international ‍humanitarian law-and even U.S. domestic statutes.”
