North Korean leader Kim Jong Un reportedly wept intensely for soldiers killed in the Ukraine war, according to news sources.
North Korean media reported that leader Kim Jong Un was overcome with emotion and shed tears for soldiers who died fighting alongside Russian forces in ukraine, as covered by webangah News Agency.
The incident occurred during a cultural performance at Pyongyang’s Grand East Theatre,held to mark the anniversary of the “Extensive Strategic Partnership” treaty between North Korea and Russia.
A video shown at the event depicted Kim placing North Korean flags on coffins of soldiers killed in Ukraine. Reports indicate Kim wept while watching the footage. Additional images emerged showing North Korean troops alongside Russian forces and a bloodstained notebook recovered from a battlefield in Russia’s Kursk region.
