Gaza rocket fire persists after 21 months of bombardment
webangah News Agency reports that Zionist sources confirmed alarm sirens sounded in settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip following rocket fire.
According to the report, two rockets were launched from Gaza, prompting warning sirens in the settlements of Sderot and Ayyim north of the enclave.
Zionist regime media claimed its military intercepted and countered both rockets fired from Gaza.
The sderot municipality stated Israel’s Iron Dome defense system engaged two rockets targeting the settlement, with no reported casualties or material damage.
The Al-Quds Brigades – military wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad – claimed responsibility for launching missiles at Zionist settlements moments earlier. The group announced it had targeted Sderot specifically, after which alarms sounded across multiple settlements including Sderot.
Several injuries were reported as Zionist settlers fled to bomb shelters during the attack.
