Russian Navy Deputy Commander Killed in Ukrainian Missile Strike
Russia’s Defense Ministry confirms teh death of General Mikhail Gudkov, Deputy Commander of Russia’s Coastal and Ground Forces, during combat operations in Kursk Oblast.
According to webangah News Agency, citing Russian state media RIA Novosti, a Russian official confirmed that Mikhail Gudkov, Deputy Commander of Russia’s Navy, was killed while on duty in Kursk Oblast.
The Russian Defense Ministry stated in an official release that General Gudkov, Deputy Commander of the Navy’s Coastal and Ground Forces, died during a military operation in Kursk.
Media reports claim the attack involved a Ukrainian missile strike on a Russian command post in Korenevo (Kursk region),resulting in the deaths of Lieutenant General Gudkov and over 10 senior officers.
Analysts describe this as one of Russia’s highest-ranking command losses since the start of the war.
