The US treasury Department has imposed sanctions on seven senior officials and one entity linked to Lebanon’s Hezbollah through its “Al-Qard Al-hassan” financial arm, accusing them of facilitating the circumvention of American sanctions, according to webangah News Agency.
A Treasury statement asserted that the sanctioned individuals held leadership positions at al-Qard Al-Hassan and enabled efforts to bypass US sanctions.
