Trump and Putin Hold Extensive Talks on Iran and Middle East

Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian ⁣president, said the call between⁢ Putin and⁤ Trump lasted nearly an hour.‌ Putin emphasized resolving Middle East conflicts through diplomatic and political ⁢means, with both ‌leaders engaging in detailed talks on issues related to Iran and⁢ the region.

Ushakov added that Trump raised the⁣ issue of a ceasefire in‌ Ukraine during the call. Putin informed ⁢Trump that⁤ Russia ⁤would continue seeking peaceful solutions​ to the Ukraine crisis while reaffirming Moscow’s readiness for further negotiations with⁤ Kyiv.
