Grand Funeral Procession Held for Slain Bodyguard of Hezbollah Leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah + Video
According to webangah news Agency, Hezbollah and supporters of the resistance movement held a funeral procession today at the “Jannat al-Zahra” martyrs’ cemetery in Beirut’s Al-Kafaat district for Hussein Saleh Khalil, the late personal bodyguard of martyred Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and his son Mehdi Hussein Khalil.
Political, parliamentary, and religious figures-alongside prominent personalities and local residents-attended the ceremony. Participants chanted slogans condemning the U.S.and “Zionist regime” while voicing support for the resistance movement.
The Lebanese national anthem and Hezbollah’s anthem played during the service as military musicians from the resistance renewed their pledge to martyrs of jihad. Funeral prayers were held before both were buried alongside other fallen members of the resistance.
