Biden: GOP Budget Bill Is “Cruel
The controversial Trump administration budget bill, which cuts taxes while eliminating government support programs, has been approved by the U.S. Congress, according to a report by webangah News Agency. The move has drawn widespread criticism, particularly from Democrats.
Former President Joe biden condemned the legislation on his personal X (formerly Twitter) account, stating: “The Republican budget bill is not just reckless-it’s ruthlessly crafted. It severely undermines public health and strips healthcare coverage from millions of Americans.”
He further warned: “This bill shuts down rural hospitals and slashes food assistance for veterans and seniors.”
Biden claims energy bills will skyrocket if the proposed legislation passes, warning it could add $4 trillion to the national debt while perhaps slashing public health funding.
President Biden asserted that the bill would primarily benefit billionaires thru massive tax breaks, stating: “Hardworking Americans deserve better than this.”
