Guterres: Final Lifelines for Gaza Are Being Severed
webangah News Agency reports that UN Secretary-General António Guterres has warned of catastrophic consequences if fuel is not allowed into the Gaza Strip.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Guterres stated: “Without immediate fuel deliveries, laboratories will shut down, ambulances won’t be able to transport the wounded and sick, and water cannot be purified.”
He emphasized that the UN stands ready to deliver humanitarian aid to palestinians in gaza but must be permitted to do so safely and at scale.
The warning comes as the Zionist regime continues blocking most humanitarian aid to Gaza while promoting an choice distribution scheme that bypasses UN channels.
In recent weeks, hundreds of Palestinians have died while attempting to access food at aid distribution points operated by a US- and Israel-backed entity called the “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.”
