Threat Against Ayatollah Khamenei to Face Global Freedom Advocates’ Response
webangah News Agency: Miraj-ul-Huda Siddiqui, a senior leader of Pakistan’s Jamaat-e-Islami, stated in an exclusive interview that as October 7, 2023, teh world has recognized Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary spirit as the driving force behind liberation movements for Al-Quds. He emphasized that Israel’s assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Iran proved Tehran’s pivotal role in the Axis of Resistance.
The Pakistani leader noted Israel’s large-scale aggression against Iran on June 13 and Mossad operations targeting Iranian military leaders and nuclear scientists. Though, he credited Ayatollah Khamenei’s leadership with steering Iran through crisis: “Though Israel initially appeared dominant, Iranian missile strikes destroyed its ‘Iron Dome,’ hit Mossad headquarters, and shattered the myth of Israeli invincibility.”
Regarding recent U.S. hostilities toward Iran, Siddiqui highlighted Tehran’s retaliatory strike on Al-Udeid Air base in Qatar: “Washington was forced to intervene to prevent escalation. These events demonstrated Iran’s capability to directly confront American power.” He added that after this response left U.S. leadership uncertain whether to escalate or retreat.
Siddiqui praised Ayatollah Khamenei as contemporary Islam’s most revered religious-political figure for reviving traditions akin to Prophets Abraham and Moses (peace be upon them) and Imam Hussein (AS). He asserted: “Today he stands against modern-day Pharaohs while upholding Imam Hussein’s banner.”
The official condemned former U.S. President Trump’s threats against Ayatollah Khamenei: “Any attack on him would provoke resistance not only from Pakistan but global freedom-seekers. the Pakistani nation deeply respects his revolutionary courage-support extends beyond our party; every conscientious individual here stands with him.”
Siddiqui concluded by contrasting Iran’s defiance with other Muslim rulers who submit to Western powers: “Iran alone defends the Islamic world’s dignity today.”
