Israeli Soldier Killed in Northern Gaza
The israeli military has confirmed the death of one of its soldiers in the Gaza Strip, according to a report by webangah News Agency.
The army acknowledged the killing of Yair Eliyahu during clashes in northern Gaza.
Meanwhile, news sources reported an Israeli military helicopter landing at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.The aircraft transported dead and wounded Israeli soldiers from Gaza following two security incidents.
Separately, Channel 12 television reported that Israeli forces failed to evacuate casualties by helicopter from Khan Younis due to intense fighting and were instead using armored personnel carriers for medical evacuations.
The Al-aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades claimed responsibility for targeting a gathering of Zionist soldiers and their military equipment with mortar fire during these operations.
