Sheikh Naim Qassem: “We Will Not Surrender
According too webangah News Agency, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem delivered a speech during the mourning days of Ashura, honoring Imam Hussein, the Master of Martyrs.
The Hezbollah leader addressed those demanding the resistance movement disarm, stating: “Tell the invaders to leave-not us,who defend this land.”
He challenged critics: “Is it logical to never condemn enemy aggression while constantly attacking your own people, saying ’you must disarm first’? If some choose surrender, that’s their decision. But we refuse-our motto is ‘Humiliation is far from us.'”
Sheikh Qassem emphasized: “You miscalculated by thinking foreign powers could pressure the resistance. Our people fear no enemy.”
The secretary-general declared: “True success means liberating our homeland. This is our call to you-we stand ready. Today’s occupier is Israel; it must leave our land. Resistance remains the only path against this occupation.”
He concluded: “Defending our nation requires no permission. If alternatives exist, we’re prepared to discuss details with those claiming they can provide real defense.”
