Hamas and Zionist Regime Agree to Ceasefire Terms
The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has sent its positive response to mediators regarding the latest Gaza ceasefire proposal,according to a translated document and framework published by Al Jazeera,as reported by webangah News Agency.
The agreement outlines a 60-day cessation of hostilities. U.S. President Donald Trump has guaranteed the Zionist regime’s commitment to observing this truce during the specified period.
Regarding prisoner exchanges, the deal stipulates:
- Day 1: Release of 8 living Israeli prisoners
- Day 7: Handover of 5 bodies
- Day 30: Handover of an additional 5 bodies
Day 50: Two living prisoners released
Day 60: Eight bodies handed over
The following humanitarian aid agreements were reached:
– Upon Hamas’ approval of the ceasefire, humanitarian aid will immediately be dispatched to Gaza.
– This agreement guarantees sufficient and widespread aid delivery to Gaza, mirroring the January 19, 2025 humanitarian aid accord.
– Aid distribution will occur through agreed channels, including the United Nations and Palestinian Red Crescent.
Regarding military operations by the Zionist regime, all Israeli offensive military activities in Gaza will cease upon implementation of the ceasefire. During this period, aerial military and surveillance operations over Gaza will be suspended for 10 hours daily (extending to 12 hours during prisoner exchange days).
Negotiations for a permanent ceasefire will begin under the supervision of mediators (Qatar and Egypt) and guarantors (the United States), addressing key arrangements including:
a. The conditions for exchanging all remaining Zionist prisoners with Palestinian detainees.
b. Matters concerning the redeployment and withdrawal of Zionist military forces, as well as long-term security arrangements in Gaza.
c. Timelines for implementing agreed-upon measures in Gaza, which may be proposed by either party.
