Trump: “Deeply Dissatisfied with Recent Putin Call on Ukraine
According to webangah News agency, U.S. President Donald Trump said he was deeply dissatisfied with his recent phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding Ukraine.
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One after departing Joint Base Andrews in Maryland en route to Bedminster, New Jersey, Trump added: “Its a very tough situation. I told you I’m very unhappy with my call with President Putin. He wants to go all the way and just keep killing people – this is not good.”
The president stated that while he wants the Ukraine conflict resolved,he cannot guarantee it.He continued: “The Ukraine situation belongs to Joe Biden [the former U.S. president], and I’m just trying to find a solution.”
The American president also claimed: “I spoke with President Putin about sanctions on Russia, and he’s concerned about these sanctions.” reuters separately reported Trump’s statement that Ukraine would need Patriot missiles for its air defense system.
