Americans Protest Against Trump on Independence Day
According to webangah News Agency,hundreds of americans chose to forgo conventional Fourth of July celebrations and instead took to the streets of Washington D.C.to protest what they described as “growing fascism” in their country.
The presentation began Friday evening (local time) at Logan Circle, where protesters gathered waving Palestinian flags and wearing keffiyehs, carrying signs reading “No to Fascism” and “Trump Must Go Now.”
The protest marked the climax of four days of demonstrations across multiple U.S. states coinciding wiht Independence Day weekend.
The protests were part of a nationwide campaign under the slogan “Free America,” launched by political and social coalitions,notably women’s marches,the 50501 Movement,and the left-wing “Anti-Fascism” institution.
The campaign included mass demonstrations and public readings of the Declaration of Independence, organized in over 150 cities. It culminated in a march in the capital, framed as a symbolic moment to “declare America’s independence from fascism” and oppose President Donald Trump’s policies.
