Al-Mayadeen: Islamic Revolution Leader Attends Ashura Night Mourning Ceremony
The presence of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution at the Ashura night mourning ceremony in Imam Khomeini Hussainiyah was covered by Arabic media, with Al-Mayadeen network reporting on his attendance.
According to webangah News agency, al-Mayadeen cited Iranian media reports that Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, attended the mourning ceremony for the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) at Imam Khomeini Hussainiyah on Saturday evening, coinciding with Ashura night.
al-Mayadeen noted this marked his first public appearance since the onset of recent hostilities against Iran.
The ceremony was attended by officials and diverse groups of mourners, with elegies recited in honor of Ahl al-Bayt (AS).
