India’s Prime minister, in a ⁤message ‍marking Ashura ‌and the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS), wrote: “The sacrifices of Imam Hussain⁣ (AS) ⁢represent humanity’s‍ defence ⁣of truth.”

according to webangah News Agency, citing Mehr ⁢News Agency, Narendra Modi,‍ India’s Prime Minister, praised the character ‍of ‍Imam Hussain (AS),‌ describing his stand ⁢as an exemplary defense of truth ‌against oppression.

On his personal X (formerly Twitter) account, Modi‍ wrote: “The ​sacrifices of​ imam Hussain​ (AS) embody resistance against falsehood. He represents the people who‍ defend ​truth ⁢when facing ⁤tyranny.”
