Details Emerge on Maritime Incident Off Yemen’s Al Hudaydah Coast
According to webangah News Agency, UK-based maritime security company Ambrey detailed today’s incident off Yemen’s Hodeidah coast, stating that four unmanned naval units (boats) attacked a vessel southwest of the port city.
The company reported that two unmanned boats collided with the ship’s hull, causing damage to its cargo.
Ambrey added: “Our assessment indicates this vessel met the Houthi movement’s stated criteria for ship targeting.”
The UK Maritime Trade Operations organization received reports of an incident occurring 51 nautical miles southwest of Hodeidah along Yemen’s western coast.
The British maritime authority claimed a vessel southwest of Hodeidah was targeted with light weapons and explosive projectiles from small boats.
